Chapter Officers
Officers of the chapter are elected at the end of the fall
semester, and begin their one-year term in office at the last chapter meeting of
that semester. Officers must be a member in good standing, enrolled full
time, and have at least a 2.5 GPA to hold an office.

PRESIDENT |
The President of the chapter presides over chapter meetings, is
an ex-officio member of all committees, and must sign all official
paperwork. The president is the official delegate and representative of
the chapter during all business, within and without the music department,
whenever such representative is required.

VICE PRESIDENT |
The Vice President presides over chapter meetings in the absence
of the president. The vice president is also in charge of all committee
business and assignments, and chairs the service committee. At the
beginning of each semester, the vice president is responsible for assigning all
member to the various committees and for publishing and distributing a list
thereof.

RECORDING SECRETARY |
The Recording Secretary records the minutes of all meetings,
composes an address list and phone tree of all active members, takes roll at the
meetings, and is the co-chairperson of the Publications Committee.

CORRESPONDING/ALUMNI SECRETARY |
The C/A Secretary is responsible for all chapter correspondence,
reporting all chapter news, and maintaining correspondence with the alumni of the
chapter. The C/A Secretary is co-chairperson of the Publications
Committee.

TREASURER |
The Treasurer controls the record, receipt, and disbursement of
all chapter moneys, and is the chair of the Finance Committee.

MEMBERSHIP EDUCATOR |
The Membership Educator is responsible for all aspects of the
membership education program, and is the chair of the Membership Committee.

HISTORIAN |
The Historian is responsible for taking pictures of all chapter
events and functions, and oversees the construction of scrapbooks and
displays. The Historian chairs the History Committee.

PARLIAMENTARIAN |
The Parliamentarian is responsible for maintaining order and
proper conduct among the membership during meetings and official functions.
The Parliamentarian chairs the Jurisdiction Committee.

ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR |
The Activities Director is responsible for coordinating all
chapter activities, joint activities, and chairs the Activities Committee.
 |
MUSIC COORDINATOR |
The Music Coordinator is responsible for the preparation of the
annual Membership Recital, providing ushers at departmental concerts, and
providing ceremonial and ritual music.
